The Laughing Elizabeth Children’s Theatre is a drama-based education program focused on teaching the canon of classical children’s literature (and some grown-up stuff, too). Music, movement, and memorization develop literacy, imagination and attention spans. Parents who attend with their children learn new techniques that make reading and memorization tangible. The community of little friends gives joy and meaning to crafts, games and song.  The performance-focus teaches both children and parents a big-picture approach as individual tasks serve the greater purpose of story-telling.
