Narnia As A Children’s Stage Classic

I remember my first experience on stage was a cast member in “The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.” Waiting back stage with talking animals, dryads, dwarves and werewolves was almost as magical as finding a wardrobe with a world inside.

Here are some fun ideas for a Narnia Drama Day.

  1. Add context with “Finding Narnia,” a picture book biography of C.S. Lewis
  2. Try Turkish Delight
  3. Use the prophecies the Beaver tells the children about Aslan for memory work and practice them with hand motions – this will give your children’s minds exercise and words for when they are engaged in imaginative play throughout the day
  4. Dress up in winter coats and have tea and toast
