Special effects are not my strength, but for this play we had to think about floating babies, a lake on stage, mischievous Wind Sprite and many other magical elements. In the end we used imagination, puppetry, and a lot more props than normal. The shimmery water fabric and the way the children interacted with it was amazing. The children made it all come alive with their native playfulness. They turned mechanics into magic.
